Johanna Wright

Currently, I am a graduate student earning my MS in Clinical Psychology. My goal is to achieve a PsyD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology. I am very interested in brain-behavior relationships and how these are impacted by internal and external influences. At present, I hold a BS in Corrections and a BA in Spanish. I completed my undergraduate internship with the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

I have experience working as a child protection social worker, a mental health counselor in a therapeutic group home for adolescents and as a behavioral therapist providing intensive therapy for children with Autism. I work with families and individuals. No child is too young for effective intervention and I have a passion for working with infants and toddlers.

I am a married mother of two adopted teens with special mental health needs. I have a heart for adoptive families and their unique experiences.
